Experience a unique evening and excellent dining fare from around the world. Set on a beautiful 40 acre lake, there are 56,000 square feet under roof to explore. Step back into the time of Teddy Roosevelt in this five-star rustic lodge complete with one of the largest private wildlife collection galleries in Missouri. We specialize in fine dining, weddings, receptions, corporate retreats, company parties and private parties.
 
 
You enter Tonanzio's world as you check into our lodge. It is named for our location on Cedar Lake which drains into Cedar Creek surrounded by our indigenous Eastern Juniper, locally known as Cedar trees. We used this beautiful wood in the construction of the lodge, along with hickory and oak which came from the farm here at Tonanzio's. The yellow pine came mainly from southern Missouri.
   

Field and Stream

denotes our love of the outdoors and is beautifully decorated with local wood, fish and wildlife native to Missouri. This room is complete with a sunken marble jacuzzi for two.
   

The African Safari Room

is a reflection of Tonanzio's big game Safari's in Africa.

is a part of history here in Callaway County, where North and South divided families.... from our outdoor gardens and old town of Guthrie to a county that not only seceded from the Union but the state as well and set up the Kingdom of Captain Callaway.
   
Tonanzio's is a great escape from the world. Celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons and special occasions. Come spend a night or two with us. There are a lot of activities available: hunting, fishing, bird-watching, canoeing, hiking and mountain biking. Other area attractions include multiple championship golf courses, Churchill Memorial in the historic town of Fulton, the State Capitol in Jefferson City and the University of Missouri at Columbia.
